Performance tennis camps and fitness programs for ages 8-17 are designed to enhance the skills and physical conditioning of young athletes who are serious about improving their game. These camps typically offer a comprehensive curriculum that includes technical, tactical, and physical training. Participants engage in drills that focus on stroke development, footwork, and match play strategies. Additionally, fitness sessions are incorporated to build strength, agility, and endurance, crucial components for excelling in tennis. Professional coaches, often with competitive playing or coaching backgrounds, provide personalised feedback to help each player reach their full potential. Beyond physical development, these camps also emphasise mental toughness, sportsmanship, and a love for the game, ensuring that participants not only become better athletes but also cultivate a lifelong passion for tennis.
Camp notes
Over the summer we are running performance sessions for our team and tournament juniors. Monday evening will be drills, footwork and fitrness and Wednesday we will focus more on point play and mental skills work.
Monday session 4-5:30pm Young guns orange, green and u11s.
Monday session 5:30-7pm Older yellow ball U12 and upwards.
Wednesday 4-6pm everyone together with the groups split into mini courts of 3/4 players based on age and level. Working on developing match play, serve and return, patterns of play and mental skills.
